Zion National Park > Cedar City
Traveling in spring, summer or early fall will allow you to visit Bryce, Zion and Yosemite National Parks. But this time of year will also allow you to take an amazing road that will lead you through an astonishing forrest and past wilderness that easliy could have been nominated to become a National Park itself. We are talking about the shortest and most scenic route between Bryce Canyon and Cedar City, Route 14. When youre staying a bit more to the south, around Zion, you will have to drive up first to get to route 14. When there is snow in the air, forget it, the road will be closed, and you will have to drive to Cedar City or St. George via the 17 to the I-15. Which is a lot faster, but also a lot less scenic.
