There are many great things to see and do in Los Angeles. Some of the recommended historic sites are as follows:
Griffith Park observatory: This non-profit educational observatory provides astronomy information to the public and features an amazing view of the Los Angeles area and the Hollywood sign. There is also an impressive laser show to see with wonderful music such as U2 and Pink Floyd.
Santa Monica Blvd. must be experienced. It is a street in Los Angeles known for its outdoor cafes and restaurants, dance clubs, bars, comedy clubs and local clubs featuring great young musicians.
The Grove is a new European style historic farmers market. It offers many theaters, outdoor coffee shops, restaurants, bars, music performances, puppet shows, dancing fountains and an active trolley.
Universal City Walk offers shopping, dining, clubbing and movie theatres.
Venice Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world. It offers various outdoor activities, Venice shops, restaurants. Watch Venice artists on the boardwalk, get free tickets to TV show tapings and watch cool street performers.
A few Los Angeles museum recommendations are as follows: the Natural History Museum, the Autry Museum of Western Heritage and the J. Paul Getty Museum.
